The
Wonderland Trail follows Stevens Canyon Highway, south of Paradise
Visitor Center. It's right next to the road as it passes Reflection
Lakes, top left, and left. The upside down view is probably Cowlitz
Rocks splitting Cowlitz Glacier and Paradise Glacier.
Reeds in the lake lend an abstract touch to the image, top right.
The trail parallels Stevens Canyon Road past Lake Louise; they separate
through Stevens Canyon, past Martha Falls, above. The Wonderland Trail
follows Stevens Creek, then turns north into Box Canyon, where it
makes the third crossing of Stevens Canyon Road since leaving Paradise
River Camp. From here, it crosses Middle Fork of Cowlitz River, headed
northeast to Nickel Creek Camp - 9.2 miles from Pyramid River Camp. |
