Creeks and Falls
Cartridge Creek
Roaring down Cartridge Canyon into the Middle Fork of Kings River, in Kings Canyon National Park, this is as wild a creek as any in the Sierra. A little over half way in its run, it creates Triple Falls. They are in such difficult terrain that they can't be photographed together from the ground. The images on this page are located above Triple Falls. The white horizontal flow, bottom left, is a pool about 1/3 of the way down this 100 ft. drop. All photos are 35mm slides.
