Wyoming Capitol
The French Renaissance style building was completed in 1894. The cupola and gold gilded dome rises 146 feet above the roof top. Esther Hobart Morris greets visitors at the south main entrance. A replica of this statue stands in Statuary Hall, Washington DC. Esther led the fight for equal rights for women and became the first woman to hold public office - Justice of the Peace.
