| Following
along the Ocean Trail, south of Thunder Hole, on a foggy morning (bottom
right) brings you to Otter Cliff. Top right, the Otter Cliff from
the south side, near Otter Point. I drove to the Otter Cliff area
early on a clear morning for a shot of the cliff (above) with low
angle morning sun. The bus could not get you here until at least two
hours later. I was leaving for the west side of Mt Desert Island anyway;
so I didn't "cheat" on my plan to do Acadia National Park
by Island Explorer bus. You can get to the west side by bus, but I
intended to spend several days there at a campground. I needed to
transport my camping gear. The top left and bottom right images are
