Pioneer
Park near downtown Fairbanks holds a variety of attractions - at no
admission charge. In the 1967 centennial celebration of the transfer
of Alaska from Russia to the United States many historical buildings
were moved to this site. These windows are a few from the many structures
here. Most of the Gold Rush Town's pioneer cabins have been upgraded
to small shops, left and right. The center image is a stained glass
window from the interior of an early Fairbanks church. |
