Two yellow flowers growing in the Chester area appear in small clusters-not spreading any distance from their origin; not that I have discovered. Top left and bottom right, a member of the pea family according to flower guides, maybe a hill or meadow lotus. They reappear in small groups every summer near my residence. The ball shaped flowers, golden buttons, have appeared recently nearby.
See the next page for hill lotus's transformation to a red-orange tint with age.
