The
trail starts to climb right from the Pine Springs Campground. It gains
3,000 in about 4 miles. It's an 8.4 mile out and back trip. If your
in reasonably good physical shape, you can make it. Be sure to pace
yourself and stop frequently to admire the scenery. Look down and
you might see a caterpillar, right. I wonder if he's maiming the rock
design, top right, as camouflage. The varied rock formations along
the trail are worth your attention while stopping to catch your breath. |
