| Many Glacier |
| I chose to take the trail to Grinnell Glacier on a morning with low clouds hugging the peaks. The trailhead is just east of the campground and follows along Swiftcurrent Lake and Lake Josephine . You can also start from Many Glacier Hotel, crossing to the west side trail at several points. The tour boat, top left, cuts 1.7 miles (one way) off the trek. Right, Josephine Lake. Pine cones and rock formations add interest to the hike. |
