As
summer wanes in early August, Cataract Creek lacks significant water,
but still surges down its channel. This creek originates high in the
mountains to the south. The flanks of Cataract and Pollack Mountains,
as well as the Bishops Cap, east of the Garden Wall Divide, provide
the water for this creek. It drops north to Grinnell Creek(?), where
the two flow into Lake Josephine. |
