Top
left, Mount Gould (9553ft), shrouded in clouds, rises from behind
the Angel Wing. Grinnell Lake lies at its base. The glacier and lake
are named for George Bird Grinnell, an early proponent for the park.
A variety of flowers grow along the lakeshore. A mushroom peeks from
beneath a leaf, above. With 1500 kinds of plants in the park, flowers
are everywhere. |
