									A small turnout at the bridge has interpretive signs explaining the geographical and environmental significance of this spot. The fall colors glowed here. It was near the Saint Mary Campground, where I was camped, so I had ample opportunities to photograph the scenic splendor. The background haze is smoke from a forest fire to the west.
