| Convenient
shuttle stops let you choose your hiking distance. The Saint Mary
Falls Trailhead looks like the shortest route, but you might have
to park some distance away. For a longer hiking day, you could exit
the shuttle at Sunrift Gorge and visit it; hike by Baring Falls, and
then on to Saint Mary Falls and Virginia Falls. The trail, top left,
drops gradually to Saint Mary Falls. It crosses a creek along the
way, left. You cross Saint Mary River at the falls and then climb
gradually another half mile to Virginia Falls. |
