| The
Hidden Lake Nature Trail rises gradually, on a boardwalk, pointed
straight toward Clements Mountain, top right. The walkway helps protect
this sensitive vegetation from being trampled by the hoards of visitors
enjoying this popular trek. The Hidden Lake Overlook is 1.5 miles
along the trail. The descent to the lake takes another 1.5 miles on
rougher terrain. Before reaching Clements Mountain, left, the view
north takes in the Garden Wall, top left. The first sign of wildlife
may be mountain goats foraging among the flowers beside the trail.
Here, the trail passes through the lush growth of the Hanging Gardens
of Logan Pass. These images include clear skies because they were
