Jackson Lake ~ Colter Bay

There's a great deal of human activity at Colter Bay - visitor center, lodge, marina, restaurant, store, and campground. Yet, you can still capture nature at its best. The log and rocks form a natural still life on the beach. There were few people on the beach near the campground (see previous page). These flowers and bee were right on the side of the road near my campsite. The log and rocks image is a scanned 6x7cm (medium format) slide. The flowers and bee shots are scanned 35mm slides taken with a 90mm macro lens.
