A lone ocotillo stands guard over the Lost Palms Oasis, at the end of the trail. Approximately 100 fan palms are scattered in small groups up and down the canyon. Some cluster in a deep pocket, center right, in these photos. Small units march up the canyon. Others are off to the right - not shown in these photos.
