right, Fairfield Peak rises at the north end of Lower Twin Lake.
This scene appears along the south shore trail to Upper Twin
Lake. That morning Upper Twin, left images, was exposed to some
wind, so didn't have the mirror smooth surface that Lower Twin
did. The trail around the north shore leads to Echo, and then
Summit Lake, about 4 miles west of Upper Twin Lake. I turned
north, headed for Cluster Lakes and passed geese feeding in
a pond by Lower Twin. |
