The shore around Little Bear Lake contrasts sharply with the Cluster Lakes I passed earlier today (see previous pages). The main path of the fire must have passed just north of this southernmost Cluster Lake. The doe continues to graze at a favorite spot as the buck cautiously approaches, top. Finally, they silently agree to share the tasty fare.--- This trail now returns to its Horseshoe Lake junction.
