The town is technically not in the park, but it's worth a visit with the harbor activity and a dockside restaurant. The Quileute tribe is one of many living around the park. While visiting, check for a schedule of cultural events taking place during your stay. A long band of coastal wilderness lies above and below the Quileute Reservation. Rialto Beach is north of it, and a series of beaches stretch south for 18+/- miles to the Hoh Indian Reservation. I headed for Second Beach, a mile south of town.
