Big
leaf maple trees provide the scaffolding for this temperate rain forest.
As much as 12 feet of rainfall per year is responsible for the hanging
moss, and thick forest floor growth. The eerie lighting is best captured
on camera with an overcast sky, or light rain. These images would
have been easier to get with a digital camera. They were done in 2004
with 35mm slide film. |
