Sunrise to Mystic
The campground is by Mystic Lake, at the bottom of top photo. Light rain had started, so photography was difficult. The little natural rock garden, top right, is the best of the lot. This first leg of the trail, for me, covered nearly 11 miles, about the same as the last full segment from Indian Bar to White River. Started at 6400ft elevation this first day, ended at 5620ft.
