short trail (about 1 mile) climbs from Bubble Pond to the crest of
Cadillac Mountain. The Jordan Pond bus from Bar Harbor's Village Green,
and the Loop Road bus, from Hulls Cove Visitor Center, get you to
the trailhead. There's trailhead parking nearby also. Bubble Pond
sparkles in morning sunlight at the trailhead, top left. A hiker enjoys
the view before tackling the trail. The trail is short but steep and
rough. Blue markers guide hikers over granite boulders, left. Hikers
climb granite shelves on the lower trail. |
