The
one mile round trip trail starts at a signed turnout on the park road
about a mile east of Annie Spring and 2.4 miles south of Park Headquarters
from Rim Village. The left side of the loop follows along the Annie
Creek Canyon wall. The trail is named for ranger William Godfrey.
If you stop at the turnout south of the Annie Spring Entrance, there's
an illustrated explanation of the birth of pinnacles - see the first
page of this park site. From there the view is north into Godfrey
Glen. There are less developed walls here than at The Pinnacles
Trail farther into the park. |
