A
short walk up the Tejas Trail from the Pine Springs Campground reveals
several species of spring wildflowers. I've rarely been disappointed
on several trips to this campground. Within minutes of stepping onto
the Tejas Trail, these floral varieties appear. I don't know the top
left and the bottom right flowers. Indian paintbrush, common to the
area, top right. The red bark and yellow cambium layer (?) of the
Texas madrone tree, above, add more color to the trail. |
