Sun Road West
	McDonald Creek flows from its confluence with Avalanche Creek. It has been following the Going-to-the-Sun Road west; eventually, it cascades over McDonald Falls and enters Lake McDonald. It is late September and fall colors start to appear. The west face of Heavens Peak looms through the haze of forest fire smoke, right.
