Stained
glass art complements Native American wisdom throughout the displays
at the Saint Mary Visitor Center. Outside, native flowers grow along
parking lot borders, and near the visitor center entrance. Cone flowers
(?) and yarrow are prominent in the floral mix. Native Americans and
park stake holders work together to preserve the park environment.
Thin soil, especially at higher elevations, need special attention.
Wandering park visitors could unintentional compact the soil where
wildflowers tend to grow. Boardwalks help reduce the damage. |
