Logan
Pass is one of the major highlights along the Going -to-the-Sun Road.
Major mountains surround this 6646ft pass on the Continental Divide.
Clements Mountain peeks above the treeline, top right. It reveals
its full 8760ft height, above, with the moon descending, in the western
sky, behind it. The eastern end of the Hanging Gardens of Logan Pass
is in the foreground. A wall of mountains, part of the Lewis range,
stack up southwest of Logan Pass, left. These images were made while
strolling the paths around the Logan Pass Visitor Center. |
