This is about the most beautiful site I have used in 20 years of
backpacking. Cascade Creek running in the back (see previous page)
with Mount Owen and Grand Teton in front, top right. Hail, rain
and wind in the late afternoon didn't dampen my spirit. Hail bombarded
my tent for almost an hour - a residue remains around my tent, above.
Cascade Creek runs down the canyon and my orange MSR Hubba sits
waiting for the hail storm. I carried only one camera on this trek
- my light weight Pentax ist with a 28-80mm zoom lens. I shot chrome
(slide) film. Photos are scanned 35mm slides.
