Cascade Canyon North Arm
Lake Solitude

Solitude Lake sits atop Cascade Canyon north, at 9,035 ft. It is the source for the north branch of Cascade Creek. I hiked up from my campsite early in the morning. The sunlight bounced off the granite walls and water, forcing under exposures for any acceptable images. Record shots if none are worthy of quality prints. Sometimes you have to take what's there - you may not get to return. Photos are scanned 35mm slides.
