These
images are not "camping" scenes. Camping usually takes place
on clean, sometimes paved, flat spaces. a water faucet stands nearby,
and a covered bathroom isn't far away. The word "bivouac"
evokes a sense of tough experiences, with none of the conveniences
of an organized campground. Most Center for Wilderness Studies treks
teach confidence to handle bivouacs. |
