Cartridge Creek, runs west from eastern Kings Canyon National Park. Taboose Pass, on the eastern Sierra, is the most direct trail to the Creek's headwaters at Lake Basin. After fording South Fork Kings River, and traversing the unmarked Cartridge Pass, to Lake Basin, begin the overgrown creek trail. Images are along the creek above Triple Falls. This rugged trek is worth doing at least once.
