Many dramatic descents of water occur far into the interior of the Sierra Range. Taboose Falls, lft & rt, is an excepton. It plunges down a rock trough, near the Taboose Pass trailhead. But Cartridge Creek, middle, requires trekking off trail, in a wild landscape for several days, depending on weather and a hiker's capability.
