Lakes are scattered all over the High Sierra. I photographed all of these lakes on many trips with Center for Wilderness Studies on treks in the 1980's and 90's. Back then, good film cameras were large, heavy, and sensitive to weather. Packs off and cameras out for Photos. Brief stops, or longer breaks near the lake might get a pic.
