	Webster's dictionary defines "flora" as "plant life...characteristic of a region...." Trees fit this category; hence the inclusion in the flora files. Conifers inhabit Sierra higher elevations; mostly pine, fir, spruce, and hemlock. These specimens have been sculpted by water and wind.
