Cascade Pass Trail
Your chance of having to cross a snowfield is high. This one had a well beaten path, but a slip could send a hiker hundreds of feet down the slope. Another small field, to the right in both photos is a bit shorter. The hikers didn't express any concern about these crossings. I know that experienced hikers would have no problem. However, I met hikers of all ages and expertise along the trail. Cascade Pass is just around the corner on the right side of the images. Another display of flowers along this section of trail: Tiger Lillies, Corn Lillies and little white puffy flowers (?).
