Looking back down the trail, once at tree line, you see ranges of mountains to the north. I believe the 2 peaks in the left photos are Klawatti on the right and Eldorado on the left. The snowfield, streching between the peaks, may be part of Inspiration Glacier. In the photo, above, Klawatti Peak appears at the far left and Forbidden Peak in the center. Forbidden Peak sits at the western edge of Boston Glacier - one of the more prominant glaciers in the park. The top right and bottom left images were taken at the small snowfield, near the pass, mentioned on the previous page. The trail, leading back toward the trailhead, cuts a groove across a slide area, above.
