The Trail of the Cedars starts at the end of Main Street. It crosses the Skagit River, left, on a suspension bridge, above. The loop trail runs out about a mile one way, and the same distance back on the riverside part of the loop. The trail also links with the Rock Shelter Trail, the Newhalem Creek Trail, and the River Loop Trail to the west (see previous pages for photos of these trails). Signs explain forest topics.
