Gore Range Overlook

The Road winds beyond Tundra Communities trailhead toward the Gore Range overlook, top left. The highest point on the road (12183ft) comes just before the overlook. The Gore Range, a line of 12000ft+ peaks, appears through the afternoon haze. The Continental Divide runs along these peaks. Patches of snow spot the foreground, in late August, at this 12000ft elevation. Photos are scanned 35mm slides.
