The image, top left, depicts the weather conditions since I left Indian Bar early this morning - my 11th day. Fog and rain continued as I crossed White River, headed for my reserved space at the White River Campground. Looking west, across White River, at the campground would have created images similar to the, top left one. So I inserted these two photos, of Mt Rainier, from an earlier visit to the campground. Many hikers were here, trying to dry their gear and clothing. I set up my wet tent under trees to mitigate further soaking. A couple hikers had just arrived with supplies, and shared beers with the rest of us; a great end of my last full day. Tomorrow, day 12, I would climb to Sunrise VC to find my vehicle covered with snow.
