Going-to-the-Sun Road West
	The raised relief map, top left, shows the proximity of Avalanche Lake (center) to Logan Pass/Hidden Lake (right). The eastern tip of Lake McDonald appears at the top left on the map. Avalanche Creek flows down from the lake, above. It carves its way through Avalanche Gorge, top right, and right. The Avalanche Lake Trail follows the tumbling creek most of the way to the lake.
