After
surveying the poor "scenic" photo opportunity of a some
and ash landscape at Avalanche Lake, I switched to Plan B. As I wandered
the lakeshore, looking down, a brighter world appeared. Flowers, insects,
animals! The large flying insect was easy to spot, even at a distance,
top left - a closer look, above. The squirrel ran around a lot, but
I managed to capture a "blurred" action shot. The flowers,
top right, are either mountain aster of fleabane. I have trouble identifying
these similar flora. |
