Finding
and negotiating off trail, cross country routes, is the center- piece
of the Center for Wilderness Studies program. Rough terrain gives
little space for a tent, so your sleeping pad covers the sharp points
of some small rocks. Extra clothing can blunt more. Add your sleeping
bag and you're ready for a "comfortable" night's rest. You're
fatigued enough from the day to sleep and recover energy. |
