Work is going on inside the Gorge Powerhouse, top left. This activity, and the huge turbines generating power, is viewed from the observation deck, accessed through the back door ( see previous page). The gazebo, above, creatively constructed with electrical insulators, sits behind the town visitor center. The symbol of power extends to a miniature water wheel in Ladder Creek Falls Garden, behind the Gorge Powerhouse.
